Paul Stapleton

Born and raised in Greater Vancouver, Paul plans to keep his birthplace as a permanent base camp for his life of international interest. A gifted carpenter by trade, when he's not trotting the globe and/or just standing with his mouth open pondering the wonders of human existence, you'll most likely find him building on various construction projects around the city.

After spending time and meeting many other fellow human beings in North Africa, Central America, South Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, Paul has come to at least one conclusion: the good life is built out of good community. He is excited to have UTRT as a means for giving and building community abroad, and plans to adorn his own community at home with the blessings picked up along the way.

Paul visited Uganda in 2007 as part of the founding expedition, and was fortunate enough to butcher his own birthday goat.
