Chelsey Hunt

Chelsey is currently studying International Development at Trinity Western University. Passionate about women’s and children’s rights and education in East Africa, her involvement with Under the Reading Tree gives her an opportunity to promote these issues on a community-based, grassroots level. In the past few years, she has made a number of trips to Ethiopia, where she has contributed to a number of different development initiatives related to education. Following completion of her studies, Chelsey hopes to live and work in Ethiopia.

Chelsey loves photography, traveling and spending time outside. In addition to Ethiopia, she has also spent time in Asia and Europe.
