Under the Reading Tree relies solely on private donations from individuals and groups wishing to support our projects in East Africa. Your donation will help purchase locally published books, provide training and salaries for librarians, and cover building and program operating costs. Through mandatory quarterly reporting from each library, we ensure that your gifts are used effectively.
A registered charitable organization in Canada (#849962568RR0001), donations from Canadians are tax deductible.
Online donations using your credit card can be made through CanadaHelps.org. We encourage you to consider a monthly donation, but will of course welcome one-time donations of any size. A 3% fee will be charged by CanadaHelps for processing your donation.
